For the following sterilization procedures, please wear protective attire (gloves, mask, eyewear):

High-speed handpieces

 Flush handpiece for 30 seconds, discharge water into sink or evacuation system.

 Remove bur, discard if dull or damaged.

 Return all handpiece components to cassette, close lid.

 Clean and disinfect hose and bracket holder by using two separate disinfectant-saturated absorbent towels.

 Allow three minutes contact time.

Low-speed handpieces

Latch and Friction Grip Contra Angles

 Run handpiece for 30 seconds.

 Remove bur, discard if dull or damaged.

 Return all handpiece components to cassette, close lid.

 Clean and disinfect hose and bracket holder by using two separate disinfectant saturated absorbent towels.

 Allow three minutes contact time.

Prophy Angles

 Discard prophy cup.

 Run handpiece for 30 seconds.

 Return all handpiece components to cassette, close lid.

 Clean and disinfect hose and bracket holder by using two separate disinfectant saturated absorbent towels.

 Allow three minutes contact time.
